FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you still have questions about this service? We are here to help

When will I receive my eSIM for Vietnam?

Once you place the order and make payment to us, the eSIM QR code will be immediately delivered to your email. You then just need to scan it to your phone, and activate your plan immediately if you are in Vietnam or when you land in our country.

How much data do I need when I travel to Vietnam?

For most trips to Vietnam, 3GB or 4GB of data will be enough to cover your common internet usage, including searching google maps, and browsing websites.

But if you have a high demand for internet, including watching Netflix, Youtube, or calling via Facetime, or if you are traveling in Vietnam for almost a month, a higher data volume is recommended.

In addition, in order to save your data, you may opt to use free WI-FI as much as possible.

When does my Vietnam eSIM data plan start?

Your plan starts when you activate your eSIM data plan, not from the time you scan its QR code and add it to your phone.

Can I keep my WhatsApp number?

Yes, you will keep it and all your conversations and contacts. You can use it just like normal.

How quick is the internet with Vietnam eSIM?

Vietnam eSIM connects you to the mobile network of Vinaphone, Viettel, Mobiphone,… – biggest mobile networks operators in Vietnam. Its coverage is excellent in big cities and in countryside as well.

Do I have turn on my eSIM Data roaming?

Yes, you are required to do so to get the best coverage. This will not incur any additional charges, as long as you have already set up the eSIM.

What happens if I use up my data or my days of validity?

If your data has been used up or your eSim validity comes to an end, your eSIM card will no longer work and you will not be able to connect to the internet. If you want more data, buying a new plan is the best choice.

Can I top up the Vietnam eSIM?

No, at the moment, eSIM for Vietnam cannot be topped up. However, you can buy another eSIM if you need more data.

When should I set up my eSIM Vietnam?

As you need Wi-FI to set up your eSIM, we recommend that you install your eSIM before departure for Vietnam. And then, activate your eSIM data plan when you land in Vietnam.

How can I check my data balance?

How to check data usage depends on the package you buy. It will be clearly stated in the user’s guide attached to the email sent to you after your payment.

How can I delete the eSIM once I’ve used up my data?
